Shannon Miller Steps Down as Calgary Inferno Head Coach

CALGARY, ALTA – Dec.6, 2018 – The Calgary Inferno have announced that Shannon Miller has stepped down as head coach.

“The Inferno thank Shannon for her contributions to the program during her time with the team and wish her the best in her future endeavors,” remarked Inferno general manager Kristen Hagg.

Assistant coaches Ryan Hilderman, Becky McGee and Mandi Duhamel remain with the team. Hilderman and Duhamel will be behind the bench for the upcoming series.

The Inferno turn their attention on this weekend’s upcoming match up against the Markham Thunder. The teams met in Calgary last weekend and split the weekend series, Calgary losing narrowly Saturday in a shoot out. Markham sits five points back of the first place Inferno who have one game in hand.
