Player Feature – Taryn Baumgardt

Taryn Baumgardt is entering her first season with the Calgary Inferno after the club selected her fifth overall in the 2017 CWHL entry draft. Baumgardt spent the previous four seasons playing her collegiate career with the Quinnipiac University Bobcats in Hamden, Connecticut. During her time there, Baumgardt amassed 43 points while playing in 150 games, setting a new program record. She was also twice selected to the ECAC All-Academic team.

Through 14 games with the Inferno this season, Baumgardt has registered three assists and a +6 rating.
