Player Feature – Kelty Apperson

Originally from Kitchener Ontario Kelty Apperson is making her CWHL debut with the Calgary Inferno this year. Apperson played at St. Thomas University where she was awarded female Athlete of the year for the 2016-17 season. Earlier this year Apperson had the opportunity to compete in an Olympic like experience at the 2017 Winter Universaide in Kazakhstan, where she was named assistant captain. It was incredible learning opportunity for Apperson and she looks forward to continuing her growth and leadership skills with the Inferno this season.

Best Moment as Player: 2015-2016 season with my university team – making a lot of firsts in the program.

Who is your idol: My Mother, Maureen Long.

What is your dream vacation and who would you take: Backpacking trip in Iceland with my family.
