Player Feature – Hayleigh Cudmore

Hayleigh Cudmore is entering her fourth season with the Calgary Inferno, her first as an assistant captain. Throughout her entire career, she has experienced a high level of competition. In 2010, Cudmore was part of Canada’s gold medal team at the IIHF World Women’s U-18 Championship. She also enjoyed a four-year collegiate career playing for the Cornell Big Red, amassing 76 points in 136 games. Cudmore was also an integral part on the back end for the Inferno’s 2016 Clarkson Cup Championship run.

Through eight games with the Inferno this season, Cudmore has recorded one goal, four assists and a +8 rating.

Cudmore obtained her law degree at the University of Calgary and currently works as an articling student at a law firm in Calgary. She also enjoys volunteering with youth at the Start the Spark Campaign for youth mental health.
