Player Feature: Geneviève Lacasse

This is Geneviève Lacasse’s first year on the Calgary Inferno. A veteran in the CWHL,  she previously played four seasons with the Boston Blades. 

Originally from Montreal, QC, Genevieve was raised in Kingston, ON.

She completed her degree at Providence College for the Friars, while breaking many records in her four years on their hockey team. Her records include 64 victories, 127 games, 3,482 saves, and 20 shutouts.

Lacasse was also part of the 2014 Canadian Olympic team who won gold in Sochi.

While in the CWHL, she has attended many All-Star games, and was named 2012 Goaltender of the Year.
