PLAYER FEATURE- Emerance Maschmeyer

Emerance Maschmeyer may be listed as a rookie on the Calgary Inferno roster, but she brings plenty of experience and pedigree to Cowtown.

Maschmeyer has enjoyed success at multiple levels in her playing career, winning gold medals at both the Alberta and Canada Winter Games, as well as the 2012 IIHF World Women’s U-18 Championship. Her strong play in net led Maschmeyer to Boston where she competed at the collegiate level for three years, representing the Harvard Crimson.

Selected in the first round (fourth overall) by the Inferno in the 2016 CWHL Entry Draft, Maschmeyer has collected three wins and the second highest save percentage in the league (0.939) so far in 7 games this season.

Be sure to catch Emerance Maschmeyer at the autograph session following the next Calgary Inferno home game!
