Player Feature – Brittney Fouracres

Brittney Fouracres is currently playing in her first season with the Inferno and her second year in the CWHL. Last season she played with Les Montreal de Canadiennes and took home the league championship Clarkson Cup. Prior to playing in the CWHL Fouracres attended McGill University where she completed her degree in chemical engineering and played with the McGill University Martlets. In 2014, the Martlets won gold at the Canadian Interuniverity Sport (CIS) Women’s Hockey Championship.

Most memorable Olympic moment (that you’ve participated in or observed): When the men and women won the gold medal in Vancouver 2010

Best moment as a player: Winning the Clarkson Cup last season

Favourite meal: Anything to do with dessert

Favourite place outside of the rink: In the mountains, on the lake or at home with my family

A piece of advice you’d give young players:  1) Practice with a purpose. 2) Never forget about the little girl that fell in love with the game. 3) Laugh at yourself and have fun!

What’s your dream vacation and who would you take? Bora Bora with all of my family, friends and the Inferno.
