The Inferno’s goalie Lindsey Post was eager to break in her brand-new Bauer goalie pads at today’s game and help contribute to the Inferno’s win over the Rays.

“I was super excited to wear them and get on the ice, it’s my fourth time on the ice with the pads and it was fantastic,” said Lindsey Post.

The first period started with a quick goal by the Inferno with Rhianna Kurio, scoring just three minutes into the first period, assisted by Erica Kromm and Kelty Apperson. Just a minute later Kurio scored again with a powerplay goal with assists from Apperson and Kromm, giving the Inferno a 2-0 lead early into the first period. “We had a strong come back after a shaky weekend against Montreal, it was a huge confidence booster, and our focus going into next week is to play our strong puck possessive style of game and hopefully we will be successful in Toronto” said Post.

The Inferno hit the road to play against the Toronto Furies in Toronto this coming Saturday Jan. 27, 2018, puck drops at 7:00pm EST.
